The latest update has arrived in Once Human. What that means is that the Visional Wheel has turned. It's time to get ready and face the Starfall Inversion. It runs from May 21 and ends sometime in September.
The affected scenarios are Manibus (non-novice), Evolution's Call, Prismverse's Clash, The Way of Winter. For the duration of the Starfall Inversion, an inverted star generates gravitational tides daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (server time). During this time players enter what can be described as a low-gravity state that's known as Stellar Levity. Players can experience higher jumps, extended airtime, and even immunity to fall damage. There's also a significant increase to the Load capacity.
Players can explore and find Star Advent Loot Crates and Unstable Aggregates to obtain rare Gravity Crystals. They can also master a devastating plunge attack which is a melee attack in mid-air to quickly dash in the aimed direction. The plunge attack is available in all Visional Wheel scenarios.
The Starfall Inversion also makes updates to combat in Once Human. There are new gear sets like the Gravity Tide and offer different effects depending on the number of pieces a player has. For example, 1 piece increases the jump. When players get 2 pieces their magazine capacity increases and 3 pieces allow them to take reduced DMG from Deviants while airborne and at the same time obtain a DMG boost after mid-air movement. Finally, there's 4 pieces that when collected result in a larger damage boost after mid-air movement.
There are also survival changes that include:
- Added the Gravity Neutralizer and Gravity Tuner survival items, plus new item formulas and food recipes.
- Added the Anti-Gravity Foundation component, allowing players to build floating structures.
- While the gravitational tides are active, vehicles gain increased jump height, extended airtime, and do not lose Durability from high-altitude falls.
- Open Star Advent Loot Crates for a chance to obtain four types of gravity-warped animals and their skins, and six types of gravity-warped Deviations.
